Colfax Manor Condominiums is located in the
Borough of Roselle Park
directly across the street from the Roselle Park High School Athletic Field and Green Acres Complex
on West Colfax Avenue. West Roselle Avenue is a one-way street accessible from West Colfax Avenue,
which runs through the complex. The complex is known for its park-like setting and is only
one-half mile from Garden State Parkway Exit 137 and less than a quarter mile from Exit 138.
The complex has 192 units located in 12 two-story buildings. The buildings were built in 1948
to ease the housing burden that existed after World War II. Each building has a brick veneer over
a wood frame structure. The property is approximately twelve acres. There are 76 one-bedroom units and 116
two bedroom units. The units are serviced by Elizabethtown Gas, PSE&G, Comcast and Verizon.
The complex has 89 garages. The garages are located under some buildings around the complex and within 3
free standing buildings. The garages are not included with purchase; however, they are available for rent
through the Condominium Association.
In October 1987, the complex was converted from garden apartments to condominiums.
Prior to conversion in 1984, double-glazed, aluminum double-hung storm windows were installed.
Each unit has its own individual exterior entrance. The doors are solid wood with storm doors.
Colfax Manor Condominiums was controlled by the developer/sponsor until August 1998, when the management of the
complex transitioned to a unit-owner controlled board.
Roselle Park has a train station approximately a half mile away, located on West Lincoln Avenue between
